About your role

As a Machine Learning Operational Engineer at Baubap, you’ll collaborate closely with our business and operational teams. You will manage models, oversee version control, and handle datasets and features. Your responsibilities will also cover streamlining the automation of versioning through pipelines and utilizing practical tools to mitigate the risk of model issues. You need a firm grasp of the problems we’re addressing and the skills to propose and apply solutions using data and Machine Learning. Furthermore, you’ll interpret and communicate how our Machine Learning models are impacting the business.

Requirements

Outcomes

Frequent analysis of business metrics.
Researching, enhancing, and integrating new ML models into production for new project lines, to improve their efficacy.
Observation of ML algorithm results.
Maintenance of datasets for algorithm retraining.

Day to day

Suggest, design, implement, monitor, and introduce Machine Learning solutions into production to address business problems.
Thoroughly research the feasibility of new features, data sources, and/or algorithm optimizations.
Initiate creative new projects to increase the reliability and speed of our Credit Risk Models by modifying the existing infrastructure and architecture used in our pipeline.
Coordinate with Data Engineers to ensure proper implementation of pipelines for new features.

Requirements

Proficiency in Python.
Docker.
REST APIs.
Microservices.
Strong MySQL skills.
Extensive experience with the complete Machine Learning Pipeline (Feature engineering, ML model training, evaluation and monitoring).

Nice to have:

AWS.
Kubernetes (To manage microservices).
