Bella Liu led AI product and business development teams at UiPath (a leader in enterprise automation) from its early stages through to post IPO. Will Lu led engineering teams at Google, developing successful enterprise AI products over the previous decade. During beta development, Orby partnered with some of the world's largest organizations to deploy the product, saving users significant time. They also hired world-class engineering, research, and design talent from Google, Microsoft, and Stanford, who have extensive experience building cutting-edge technologies. Orby recently raised a Series A round from top VCs with strong track records of backing category-defining companies. You will work on building a category-defining product. Responsibilities: - Collect AI training data, optimize its use, and analyze data to guide product direction. Data is crucial to Inflection’s success, so your work will dramatically impact our models and product. - Design and implement data curation infrastructure. - Brainstorm unusual data sources and figure out how to access them. - Develop distributed data processing pipelines for filtering, augmenting, and analyzing datasets. - Collaborate with AI and infrastructure staff to enhance our AI capabilities through improved data. Where We Work: We operate in a hybrid work model. We spend three days a week in the office. We have core working hours when everyone is expected to be available. We are currently hiring in Sunnyvale, CA, though exceptions are sometimes made. Minimum Qualifications: - Strong algorithm, data structure, and coding skills. - Experience in designing and implementing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data architectures on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Demonstrated experience with both SQL and NoSQL database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL or MongoDB, Cassandra). Preferred Qualifications: - Demonstrated track record of excellence and a desire to use data to improve products. - Experience at fast-growing companies or startups. - Experience in large-scale ML and NLP. - Exposure to architectural patterns of large, high-scale software applications. Compensation: - We strive to attract and retain the best employees, compensating them in a manner that appropriately and fairly reflects their individual contributions to the company. - The pay range for this position in California is estimated to fall within the base range of approximately $150,000 - $300,000. - This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may vary.
