About the Role: We're searching for a shrewd and experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to develop seamless data products together with our data engineering, analytics, business, and product management teams. You will: - Develop scalable data models to take data products to the next level. - Manage data transformations post the loading of raw data through a mix of technical processes and business logic. - Create an inventory of data sources and documents necessary to implement self-service analytics. - Define data quality standards and work with the analytics team to establish minimum acceptance criteria for data sources. - Catalogue and document data sources. - Regularly meet with business partners and analytics teams to understand and resolve short-term and medium-term data needs. - Build trust with internal stakeholders to foster data-driven decision-making. - Collaborate with all organizations to extend the value of our data products by incorporating new data from our backend and third-party systems. You have: - 5+ years of experience with SQL, preferably for data transformation or analytical use cases. - 4+ years of experience building scalable data models for analytical and BI purposes. - 3+ years of solid experience with dbt. - Mastery of data warehouse methodologies and techniques, ranging from transactional databases to dimensional data modeling, to wide denormalized data marts. - Solid experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Looker. - Experience using version control (command-line, Git). - Familiarity with one of the data warehouses such as Google Big Query, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks. - Domain expertise in one or more areas such as Finance, Product, Marketing, Operations, Customer Experience. - Demonstrated experience in engaging and influencing senior leaders across functions, with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations to drive actions. - Ability to articulate vision, mission, and objectives, and tailor the narrative to suit the audience.
