Department

The IoT Technology team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary is looking to fill this position. This team comprises of IT experts engaged in big data, data analytics, data sharing, and IoT solution implementation projects.

Project

Your future project involves collaborating directly with our client from the energy solution industry, which aims to decarbonize major industries in the global economy. Alongside members from the T-Systems International Data Intelligence Business unit, you will join an international team that supports our client. Your main focus will be to develop the client's existing analytics environment to further explore, develop, and orchestrate analytics, including rule-based models and machine learning algorithms.

Main tasks

  • Developing and executing data-driven solutions to back business objectives and expedite company growth
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as software engineering, product management, and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-value data initiatives
  • Building and maintaining scalable, efficient, and high-performing data systems, utilizing big data technologies
  • Designing and executing experiments, analyzing large and complex data sets, and using insights to influence business decisions
  • Conveying complex technical concepts and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, using data visualization and other means as necessary
  • Versioning of analytical model output - providing end-users with analytical model version information, for example, when an analytic model has been retrained, the computation model has changed, etc.
  • Account split of analytics platform - ensuring isolation of analytics platform workloads and resources in the production environment from those workloads and resources in the development, staging, pre-production environment.
  • Analytics platform integration with a cold store, including an abstraction of hot and cold store resources for model development, training, and processing
  • Analytics development and deployment for non-software developers – creating visualization and a framework for non-software developers to "wire" algorithms in a low-code environment
  • Collaboration with other teams in an international environment (Germany, Hungary, Spain)

Qualifications

Background and required skills

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology, or equivalent work experience in IT
  • 2-5 years of overall IT experience with a focus on Python and analytics frameworks
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in complex frontend development
  • Proficiency in the following:

    • Excellent knowledge and experience in writing analytics code in Python utilizing standard frameworks (tensorflow, pytorch, scikit-learn, etc.)
    • Experience with AWS Sagemaker (Notebooks, Jobs)
    • Experience with the PyCharm IDE
    • Experience in data model visualization (Grafana)
    • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes/DevOps is a plus
    • Team-player - able to troubleshoot issues, assist team members when necessary, and actively participate in knowledge sharing.
  • Excellent knowledge of Git and git branching strategies
  • An understanding of DevOps and continuous integration/ deployment concepts is a must
  • Candidates must have robust communication skills as they will be required to demonstrate product/solutions to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Good written and oral English skills are necessary.
