Your role will involve leading the deployment of AI/ML solutions with robust lifecycle management.
Main Responsibilities
- Define and enhance how Data Science accelerates Sanofi’s digital products by understanding the patient journey and tailoring interventions to maximize patient benefit.
- Engage with external data partners to evaluate and build relationships for acquiring and accessing real-world data assets.
- Utilize data analysis, visualization, storytelling, and technology to scope, define, and deliver AI-based data products to accelerate and optimize R&D.
- Work effectively with diverse data sources including unstructured data, omics, wearable device data, imaging data, electronic health records, social media, and operational data.
- Create interactive visualizations, presentations, publications, web applications, predictive algorithms, and APIs.
- Build models, algorithms, simulations, and performance evaluations using state-of-the-art machine learning technologies.
- Train and assist team members on data organization and analysis techniques.
About You
Experience
- Proven experience in developing deployable code and deploying models in an agile, product-focused environment.
- Excellent team management and articulation skills.
- Experience in a healthcare company is a strong plus.
Soft Skills
- Ability to work with multiple teams to drive alignment and results.
- Strong skills in business analysis, data visualization, and data storytelling.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in core data science languages (such as Python, R, Scala) and familiarity with various database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Expertise with sensitive data in critical environments (healthcare, defense, etc.).
- Expert analytics within areas like supervised learning, unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and more.
- Comfortable working in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Databricks).
- Hands-on AI/ML modeling experience and a robust understanding of theoretical foundations of AI/ML technologies (CI/CD, Orchestration).
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Plotly.
- Experience with enterprise-level APIs and database mining, big data, and large-scale virtual screening techniques.
- Understanding of AI regulations.
Education
Master's Degree in mathematics, computer science, engineering, physics, statistics, economics, computational sciences, or a related quantitative discipline OR PhD + 3 years of relevant work and domain experience.
Languages
Fluency in English.
