Join Gopuff as an Analytics Engineer, where you will collaborate with our 'Analytics Engineering and Operations Data Lead' to develop and manage a comprehensive, reliable and understandable suite of data products to enable data-driven decision making. The role of an Analytics Engineer in our UK Team is an exciting opportunity that covers the entire process of architecting numerous in-market data engineering jobs, up to supporting education for the wider business on the data's availability and usage. The position provides a successful candidate with an extensive exposure to our business and operations, and great learning and development opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Create and manage our UK-specific data pipelines, ensuring data reliability and accuracy. - Develop, enhance and deploy 'hot-fixes' to new and existing Snowflake Data Tables through DBT. - Manage and develop our Looker LookML code base, ensuring it is accurate, efficient and fit for purpose. - Develop new outward-facing Data Products, such as Looker Dashboards, to support the wider business. - Act as a liaison to the US Engineering team, sharing best practices and updates beneficial for the UK team. - Support the broader UK team with data education to increase data literacy and our data assets utilization. Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or other quantitative discipline. - 2+ years of experience in data/analytics engineering - preferably in fields related to grocery, operations, marketing or consumer products. - Strong experience in SQL and databases (dbt), with the ability to write structured and efficient queries on large datasets. - Experience with Databricks or equivalent and/or Python is a strong plus. - Experience with BI platforms like Looker, Tableau, Power BI. - Strong, confident communicator and collaborator. - Fast mover, team player, continuous learner, and gives back.
