Job Description

Talan is actively seeking an MLOps Architect to contribute to our leading insurance sector client's drive towards hyper-automation of internal processes.

Role Overview:

The MLOps Architect will play a critical role in developing machine learning solutions from data preparation to production deployment. You will collaborate closely with data scientists to operationalize AI solutions across various business domains such as digital technology, marketing, sales, actuarial science, and operations, encompassing all aspects of insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team in utilizing technologies like AWS Sagemaker, MLFlow, and Python/R/SQL to operationalize AI-based solutions.
  • Ensure efficient data preparation using the DWA engineering framework.
  • Maintain high-quality engineering standards for models developed by data scientists.
  • Support data scientists in using API services from Clouds or open-source libraries for solution development.
  • Provide comprehensive documentation of AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with data scientists on analysis/development mandates using AWS Sagemaker and Anaconda Enterprise.
  • Optimize and utilize the available technologies efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience with AWS Sagemaker.
  • Excellent understanding of artificial intelligence techniques.
  • Expertise in best practices in software engineering to structure source code.
  • Deep knowledge in data engineering.
  • Understanding of data preparation challenges related to artificial intelligence.
  • Knowledge of Python and/or R, DevOps tools, and practices (GitHub, Jenkins), MLFlow, and Anaconda Enterprise.

Position is hybrid, based in Montreal or Quebec, with 20% in-person requirement.
