Job Summary

At HP, our Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineers specialize in the development and deployment of machine learning models to drive innovation and business value. Key responsibilities include researching and implementing AI/ML algorithms, conducting tests and evaluations, retraining systems as needed, and ensuring seamless integration of models into production environments. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and APIs, including scalability and cost management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop integrated software solutions for AI/ML models.
• Train and validate models using evaluation metrics.
• Optimize hyperparameters to enhance model performance.
• Deploy models ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Monitor and update deployed models with changing data.
• Design ML systems, experiment with algorithms, and train systems for efficiency.
• Manage technical requirements, cost estimation, and budgeting for AI/ML solutions.
• Work extensively with large language models (LLMs) APIs.
• Develop and maintain scalable ML pipelines.
• Work with CI/CD teams for seamless model deployment.
• Collaborate with research and engineering teams on automated model training.
• Apply ML and statistical modeling to business or research problems.

Required Education & Experience

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related discipline. Commensurate work experience will also be considered.
• 2-4 years of experience in computer programming languages, machine learning, algorithms, or statistical methods, or an advanced degree with limited work experience.

Preferred Certifications

• AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty
• Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate
• Databricks Certified Professional Data Scientist
