ACES Analytics is seeking a talented Business Intelligence Engineer to own analytics and develop solutions that drive insights and optimize performance improvements. As part of this dynamic team, you'll become a thought leader in Amazon Sort Centers. Collaborate with talented program managers, product managers, operational experts, and business leaders to design the Amazon network of the future.

This role demands superior analytical thinking, the capability to tackle large, ambiguous problems quickly, and the use of your analytical, technical, and engineering expertise to analyze, validate, visualize, prototype, and deliver solutions rapidly. Cross-functional collaboration across transportation, tech, operations, and finance is essential. Key Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of BI solutions in highly ambiguous and complex problem spaces with long-term business impact.
  • Implement data management processes such as data retrieval, query building, macros development, data organization, and report designing for visualizing business performance.
  • Retrieve and analyze large data sets using tools like Excel, SQL, and other data management systems.
  • Develop quantitative reporting mechanisms to deliver strategic insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within the ATS NASC team to drive impactful business solutions.
  • Design and implement reporting solutions for effective business management and decision-making.
  • Own reporting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness, focusing on resolving data discrepancies.
  • Build and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure, control, and benchmark reporting processes.
  • Monitor existing metrics, develop new metrics, and partner with internal teams to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Innovate to enhance the customer experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis and interpretation with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Quicksight, or similar.
  • Experience in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline development.
  • Proficiency in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
  • Experience using SQL for data retrieval and scripting (Python) for data processing and modeling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS solutions like EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, and using databases with large-scale, complex datasets.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across various US markets. Base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in the lowest geographic market to $185,000/year in the highest. Compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
