Team Overview and Job Responsibilities
Situated in Heredia, Costa Rica, the Business Intelligence Analyst will be under the supervision of the Product Manager. His/Her role will primarily be to furnish everyday reporting and BI assistance to several sectors in Prysmian Central America and the Caribbean.
Job Responsibilities:
Predicting sales for all business units in various seasons (S&OP demand).
Upholding data quality for the regional business intelligence platform.
Supplying insights for the management team, primarily the sales department.
Providing necessary information for price intelligence.
Data mining to ascertain our market share and market trends.
Utilizing marketing data to identify market opportunities.
Collaborating with different departments to aid in data visualization tools.
What are we looking for?
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related field.
Possession of strong organizational and time management skills, capable of driving tasks to completion.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
At least 1 year of pertinent experience in data analytics and S&OP.
Proficiency in analysis tools such as Power BI, Advance in Excel.
Application of statistical methods in forecasting.
Proficient in English.
Analytical skills that facilitate the development of data-driven reports.
Excellent critical thinking skills to assist in solving business problems and making decisions.
General knowledge of business operations.
Solid communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, teamwork, and customer-centered abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification, or Specialization in Business Intelligence or a similar field.
SQL/Python or R programming skills.
Previous experience in time series forecasting.
Machine learning skills.
