Job Description:

This pivotal role in the Housing & Children’s Services Department of the City of Windsor supports our child care programs by managing various web-based systems. You will be responsible for overseeing the Core Ontario Child Care Management (OCCM) programs, OCCM's Record of Attendance Report program, and the Online Child Care Subsidy Application Form. This position allows you to leverage your expertise in managing child care fee subsidy expenditure and providing financial analysis to enhance our children's services operations.

Main Duties Include:

  • Conducting audits and adjustments of Child Care Subsidy Files and Attendance Reports.
  • Creating new funding types and care codes to manage child care fee subsidies.
  • Assisting in the development of statistical reports and presentations.
  • Ensuring procedural compliance and guideline adherence among staff.
  • Traveling to various child care centers across Windsor-Essex for billing-related tasks.
  • Performing as per the standards dictated in our Health and Safety Program and undertaking other related duties as mandated.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of a three-year degree or diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • At least one year of relevant experience in data collection, analysis, and statistics.
  • Excellent skills in communication, technical tasks, organization, and working collaboratively.
  • Ability to travel as needed. Holding a valid driver's license is a prerequisite.
