Purpose of the Job

Our mission is to shift WB from a product-centric to a customer-centric digital organization. We aim to maximize self-servicing opportunities through a unified customer view, encompassing organizations, hierarchies, agreement references, associated individuals, and mandates.

As part of our relatively new organization, you will face exciting challenges such as improving corporate customer data quality, ensuring security and compliance, aligning stakeholders, and driving strategic technology developments.

Role and Environment

As a Customer Journey Expert / Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in fostering a data-driven culture and enhancing digital customer data journeys in WB. You will deliver valuable insights, improve customer experience, and support operational and risk performance. Based in Amsterdam, you will collaborate across product lines, departments, and international teams to design and implement customer data improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to understand customer behavior and journeys.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs and customer data metrics.
  • Identify trends and insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and business processes.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to extract actionable insights from diverse data sources.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data analytics.
  • Coach and support junior colleagues in executing key responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is data-driven and curious. The ideal candidate is collaborative, clear in communication, and proactive in proposing creative solutions to data quality challenges. You are also respectful of diverse opinions and contribute to meaningful discussions.

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience (5+ years in data reporting and analysis).
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in customer journey or customer experience roles.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is required.
