Your Responsibilities

As our new Data Analyst, you will play an instrumental role in assisting RepRisk's capacity to impart indispensable data and insights to organizations keen to promote responsible business conduct and mitigate ESG risk. You will engage with both proprietary and third-party datasets and influence decision-making and business insights through your analysis. You will be a part of our Innovation Hub department and report to the Vice President, Innovation Hub, located in Zurich, Switzerland. Furthermore, you will:

• Collect, evaluate, and translate ESG-relevant data from different sources across the data pipeline (from upstream raw data, ML- and analyst-augmented data, and downstream client-facing data)
• Contribute to RepRisk’s data wisdom and governance, ensuring data precision, pertinence, and dependability
• Create reports and visualizations that translate intricate ESG and business information data into practical insights for clients and prospects, thus informing their sustainable decision-making processes
• Maintain knowledge of industry developments and explore new 3rd party data sets to inform potential data integration
• Liaise with clients to understand their specific data needs and provide expert guidance to help them achieve their business objectives
• Assist in the development of new data management methods, tools, and technologies to amplify our ESG data offerings
• Support RepRisk's standing as a leading ESG service provider by maintaining the high-quality service standards of RepRisk

Qualifications

You offer

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Data Science, Mathematics, Finance)
• Strong analytical and data visualization abilities
• Acquaintance with ESG concepts and data sources
• Experience with SQL databases
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or others utilized for data analysis (no software development skills needed)
• Outstanding communication skills and the talent to explain complex data in an easy-to-understand manner
• Attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality
• An interest for environmental and social responsibility and a commitment to make a positive difference
• Experience with data analysis tools like Power BI, etc.
• Analytical and structured thinking, organized, solution-oriented, and efficient in execution
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in English, proficiency in any other language is a plus
