Join Vanguard as a Data Analyst in Client Experience and Digital (CXD)

Vanguard is seeking Data Analysts to join our Client Experience and Digital (CXD) group. Our team drives results through advanced analytics supporting Automation and Digitization, Wealth Management and Financial Planning, Conversational Channels (Chatbot, Voicebox, etc.), Call Center Technology (call routing and agent support technology), and our Profile and Account Settings Team, all aimed at enhancing our Personal Investor Technology area.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst, you will:

  • Engage with internal partners to understand business strategy, questions, and goals. Structure business requests, translate requirements into an analytical project approach, and complete analyses.
  • Acquire and compile structured and unstructured data, verifying its quality, accuracy, and reasonableness.
  • Perform analyses of historical data to surface trends and insights using advanced analytical methods.
  • Prepare and deliver visualizations and internal presentations that translate analytic insights into actionable solutions for business partners.
  • Develop, own, and manage recurring analytic or reporting processes.
  • Mentor, coach, train, and develop junior data analysts. Proactively expand knowledge of business and analytics and share with team members.
  • Share and document best practices.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A minimum of five years of related data analysis/science work experience.
  • An undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Coding knowledge in SQL, Python, or equivalent technologies (SAS, R).
