The Role: Data Analyst H/F

As part of Keolis Bordeaux Métropole Mobilités, you’ll be critical in managing public transport operations for Bordeaux Métropole, ensuring reliability, safety, and comfort across the TBM network with the help of 2,800 colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Extraction and Structuring: Manage data extraction (databases, web scraping, APIs), define database management rules, and ensure data quality throughout their processing.
  • Data Analysis and Exploration: Analyze data, develop dashboards, and implement statistical models (data science projects).
  • Team Collaboration: Engage with internal teams to understand business issues analytically and support data acculturation within the company.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Keep technical knowledge up to date within the field.
  • Participate in Data Governance committees.
  • Enhance practices in your area of expertise.

Candidate Profile

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree +5 years, such as Engineering school or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data consulting or as a data analyst, preferably in IT service companies or end-client environments (Azure/Microsoft focused).

Skills:

  • Proficient in data integration (ELT), data modeling, and programming (Python, R).
  • Experienced in SQL/NoSQL databases and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Fluency in English and solid knowledge of the Azure environment.

Soft Skills:

  • Service-oriented, partnership approach with business units.
  • Ability to collect business requirements, work in teams, and synthesize information.
  • Independent and meticulous.

Salary, Benefits, and Work Conditions

Permanent contract (CDI), full-time, Monday to Friday. Position classified as Executive with a monthly gross salary of €3,150 over 13 months (annual gross €40,950). Benefits include performance bonuses, attractive CSE, health and providence insurance, access to company restaurant, and transit card.
