Job Summary
Hourly Rate: $27.50/hr USD. Note that salaries vary within this range based on factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (onsite 5 days a week)
Quality Control supports the analysis review and archival conducted by Laboratory Science disciplines, including dose formulations, large and small molecule analysis, molecular and cell-based assays, biomarkers, and flow cytometry-based lab work. Team members are proficient in GxP applications, relevant SOPs, and regulatory document adherence.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently perform and document all procedures, materials, and results in compliance with applicable regulatory standards
- Effectively communicate with peers, supervisors, and the team
- Identify and communicate data issues accurately
- Support administrative tasks, including filing, ordering, and document distribution as needed
- Compile and archive data books and departmental records independently
- Develop critical thinking, troubleshooting, and time management skills aligned with operational needs
- Review and issue data sets within established timelines
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, methods, protocols, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain operational responsibility with minimal oversight
- Identify and address data discrepancies independently
- Create and compile report tables independently
- Review methods for accuracy and consistency independently
- Monitor study schedules to meet timelines
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Evaluate data and methods accurately, recognizing and communicating data trends
- Respond to Quality Assurance observations as needed
- Support issue mitigation to minimize data impact
- Maintain metrics for deviations, errors, and laboratory trends
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience; minimum 1-year technical role experience
- Combination of education and experience may be accepted as a substitute
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Computer skills aligned with essential functions
- Ability to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and extra shifts as needed
- Ability to work under specific time constraints
