Responsibilities
- Analyze, interpret and draw insights from substantial data sets to influence business decisions and strategies.
- Team up with cross-functional groups, including business stakeholders, to establish data analysis goals and requirements.
- Create, develop and establish data models, algorithms and statistical methods to solve intricate business concerns.
- Develop and maintain data visualizations, dashboards and reports to effectively express the findings of the analysis to the stakeholders.
- Identify patterns, trends and anomalies in data to detect potential opportunities and risks.
- Carry out data quality checks and enforce measures to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Carry out exploratory data analysis to discover patterns and insights that can influence business decisions.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, computer science or a related field.
- A proven track record as a Data Analyst, working with extensive data sets and executing complex data analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply data analysis methods to solve complex problems.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools like R or Python.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate analysis findings to non-technical stakeholders.
