Within the Marketplace, the Decisions & Insights team identifies and develops an understanding of the marketplace's most critical challenges & opportunities. It crafts business & product strategies to address them. We are seeking an Analytics Lead to conduct intensive business & product analyses and convey significant data trends to senior leadership. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical problem-solving capabilities, efficient communication skills, and takes proactive accountability for their workstreams. Responsibilities - Formulate hypotheses and analytical models to understand market trends and provide recommendations to senior leadership. - Influence business strategy and product roadmaps with insightful analytics and business modeling be an analytical thought leader. - Analyze marketplace product & marketplace trends and provide cross-functional teams actionable insights into improvements and problem areas. - Evaluate areas for improvement and business growth opportunities within our business. - Work in a high-paced environment and efficiently manage time to deliver business impact promptly. - Become an expert in marketplace trends and support weekly reporting for the senior leadership. Experience - Over 5 years of experience in management consulting, strategic data science/analytics roles at a technology company, or a comparable analytical role at a high-growth startup. - Experience with leading high-profile projects and influencing others within a cross-functional team. - Experience with communicating with, presenting to senior leaders, and narrating data. - Competent in building decision-making frameworks and data analysis, understanding business issues, analyzing large amounts of data, and drawing actionable conclusions. - Entrepreneurial self-starter, naturally take ownership, look for opportunities, and do whatever it takes to drive results. Skills - Ability to independently break down large datasets and synthesize inputs from multiple sources. - Ability to strategically think about complex and unstructured business problems, leading to recommendations and action plans. - Ability to create a compelling story and succinctly present recommendations across teams and levels, including both technical and non-technical audiences. - Ability to manage, influence, negotiate, and inspire others in a fast-moving environment. - Ability to use data visualization tools to provide actionable insights and reusable frameworks. - Strongly proactive and effective communicator for internal stakeholders, including senior leadership. - A strong sense of product and user experience. - Excellent organization, planning skills, and attention to detail. - Advanced problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in SQL. Beginning from September 2023, this role will use a hybrid schedule - team members are expected to work in the office three days a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and a team-specific third day. In addition, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to four weeks a year. The expected base pay range for this US position is $128,000 - $142,000. Salary ranges depend on various factors, including qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The range does not include a potential equity offering, bonus, or benefits.
