Job Summary MycoWorks is looking for a Data Analyst to assist the Quality team. The candidate will collaborate closely with individuals and departments such as Manufacturing, Process Engineering, and Product Management. The role entails analyzing, reporting, and communicating quality control data, developing data infrastructure and pipelines, supporting metric and model development, and identifying actions to enhance the quality control process and product quality. The ultimate aim is to ensure regular delivery of a high-quality product that matches customer specifications through information and data analytics. The ideal candidate will be skilled in statistics, critical thinking, experimental design, data communication, and will have experience in manufacturing. Precise attention to detail, pattern identification, and the capability to work independently and within a team are highly desirable. The individual will be expected to function in a deliverable-based environment, with quality control metrics used to evaluate outcomes. Responsibilities: - Develop an analysis of quality data and trend analysis for continuous enhancement - Understand the quality control process and data systems - Collaborate with other departments and individuals to drive work - Extract, review, and analyze main data in various systems such as MES and other data systems with the primary purpose of identifying quality problems and devising actions to resolve them - Analyze quality control data, focusing particularly on production and synthesizing recommendations and actions based on results - Develop and maintain data architecture and pipelines to ensure efficient and accurate data collection, storage, and retrieval - Support and cooperate with team members in projects that use quality control data. Provide advice and direction based on the developed expertise in the business and data models - Work with stakeholders across functions to review, understand, and optimize data - Explain complex information and systems to others and present data to stakeholders at all levels in a clear and concise manner - Prepare summaries, visualizations, dashboards, and other reporting platforms - Participate in presentations to operations and relevant stakeholders as needed - Support the business plans/processes of the department - Help establish, enforce, and/or manage procedures related to managing quality control data Qualifications: - BS or MS in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering) - Six sigma training and/or reliability engineering experience preferred - Work experience in data analytics or related field (Two or more years) - Strong experience in writing SQL and Python - Familiar with Data visualization tools and techniques and manufacturing data systems (MES, PLC) - Strong analytical skills and the ability to combine and identify patterns across multiple data sets - Precise attention to details and data accuracy - Ability to work individually and as part of a team - Comfortable with autonomy and a deliverable-oriented approach - Critical thinking and experimental design skills - Written and verbal communication skills #LI-AC1
