About the Role
The analyst involved in Prod-Ops plays a vital role in examining financial data, conducting market research, and providing insights that inform strategic decisions. Tasks include analyzing large datasets, shaping policies for underwriting loans, and presenting findings to support the growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and analyze large datasets from various internal/external sources using SQL and Python.
- Exhibit the capability to interpret and provide significant business insights from data.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to aid business decisions.
- Develop innovative & interactive dashboards, scorecards, and weekly/monthly reports on key business metrics for various audiences (from top-level management to business line employees) using BI tools and SQL queries.
- Keep track of key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to monitor the performance of the company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven initiatives and projects.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, software developers, and other data professionals to assure data availability and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience in data analysis using Python and SQL is necessary.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or other quantitative disciplines required.
- Demonstrable track record of handling large complex datasets with attention to detail and maintaining accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Capability to rethink and redefine an existing process and initiate processes where none exists.
- Experience in developing BI systems, understanding software systems architecture, and databases.
- Extensive experience with BI systems and dashboards.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in project management would be an advantage.
- Experience with Pandas/Numpy is beneficial.
- Experience with Looker would be an advantage.
