Job Description

THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN...

The goal of Data Analytics is to enable the company to derive business insights from reliable and scalable data assets. The key focus will be on integrating multiple data sources, designing scalable data models, and transforming data into valuable business information with actionable steps and recommendations.

As a Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in building new company-wide reporting, including designing and implementing a unified reporting layer and implementation of new BI Tooling (Power BI).

You will work on initiatives like:

• Our Data Platform was awarded by Microsoft as the best Data & Analytics solution in the Czech Republic - help us with future development and utilizing the full potential of top-notch technologies.

• Customer segmentation - Understanding customer behavior and needs so we can define patterns for specific segments. Drive product adoption and increase product usage across defined segments.

• Implementation of Enterprise-level KPIs is one of the company's key priorities and a critical part of our future growth. Analyze and ensure also long-term decommissioning of the currently existing reporting solution.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Determine business data requirements, identify data sources and required data elements, perform data validation and integration activities.
• Translate business data needs to specific technical requirements and tasks.
• Design scalable data models which will serve as the single source of truth for company-wide reporting.
• Conduct exploratory analytics and extract value from new and unknown data sources.
• Design, build, and maintain company-wide reporting using new BIT Tooling.
• Build robust and maintainable data pipelines along with data engineering.
• Diagnose data quality issues using formal problem-solving techniques, probe the underlying issues to generate possible solutions. Make recommendations and guide corrective and/or preventive actions.
• Write and document the outcomes of your work to make them easily understandable for other colleagues.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the field of business intelligence, data analytics, or data engineering.
• Solid understanding of data integration tools, /ELT processes, data modeling concepts and data warehouse architecture.
• Experience with Azure Data platforms or similar platforms like BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.
• Good knowledge of database principles, strong proficiency in SQL, and programming languages used for data manipulation and data analysis.
• Inquisitive, analytical problem-solving mindset.
• Communication skills.
• Fluency in Czech and English.
