Job Description

• Develops and maintains scalable data pipelines for bulk data transfer between primary systems and reference systems
• Develops and maintains scalable application to application integrations
• Aligns projects between business teams and technical teams to enhance data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making throughout the organization
• Implements processes and systems for data quality monitoring, ensuring that production data is accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes
• Writes appropriate unit or integration tests for test-drive development implementation
• Regularly contributes to and improves data team documentation
• Performs data analysis as needed to troubleshoot and resolve data related issues
• Works closely with a team of frontend and backend engineers, product managers, and analysts
• Defines company data assets, artifacts and data models

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

• 4 years' experience in Data Engineering and Data Integration
• 4 years' experience in Data Warehousing
• 1 year's experience in Data Architecture and Modeling
• 1 year's experience in Cloud Data Engineering
• 2 years' experience in Agile Methodologies

Preferred skills:

• AWS or Azure Data Certifications
• Experience with databricks, spark, python
• Experience with Microsoft stack (SQL Server, SSIS, PowerBI, etc)
• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience in the Financial Industry
