Role and Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer at EY, you will:

• Collaborate to deliver solutions utilizing leading big data platforms and cloud technologies like Azure, Databricks, GCP, Cloudera, and more.
• Assess the merits of different technology solutions to make informed recommendations.
• Transform data science prototypes into production systems handling large data volumes.
• Design and implement data aggregation solutions, enhance data foundational procedures, and integrate new data management technologies.
• Build data collection pipelines to support various projects.

Team Management and Client Services

In your role, you will:

• Manage and motivate diverse teams with varied skills and backgrounds.
• Consistently deliver quality services by monitoring progress and maintaining long-term client relationships.
• Cultivate business development opportunities.

Employment Details

Type: Full-time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (40 hours per week)

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field with 5 years of progressive experience, or a Master’s degree with 4 years of experience.
• 4 years of hands-on development experience.
• 3 years of experience in cloud, data pipelining, data modeling, and productionizing AI/ML models.
• Experience with AI/ML Engineer, Cloud Data Engineer, or Data Architect roles with at least 1 completed project.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
• Experience with technologies like Kafka, NiFi, Hadoop, or Spark.
• Experience with big data querying tools such as Pig, Hive, or Impala.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, or Neo4J.
• Experience in data ingestion, data cleaning, ETL, traditional warehousing, and data provisioning.
• 1 year of experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• 3 years of experience in data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
• 1 year of experience with machine learning libraries/frameworks like scikit-learn, Mahout, MLlib, H2O, etc.

Requires travel up to 80%, including 10% international travel to serve client needs.
