Core Responsibilities:

As a Data Engineer at Analytica, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and executing data pipelines in AWS for both data lakes and data warehouses.
  • Utilizing tools such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Amazon Textract, Amazon Comprehend, AWS Lambda, SQL, and Python scripts to implement data pipelines into existing data structures.
  • Handling batch and streaming data sources from external feeds into cloud-based data lakes and later into data warehouses.
  • Implementing data cataloging to enhance metadata sharing across data sets in the data lake.
  • Employing AWS serverless components within the data pipeline architecture.
  • Using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to deploy pipelines within AWS.

Basic Qualifications:

Prospective candidates should have:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Data Integration, including creating and maintaining data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in building data pipelines using AWS serverless components and managing credentials with AWS Secrets Manager.
  • Expertise in Python for implementing ETL scripts and using AWS Glue for ETL job maintenance and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML, NLP, Sentiment Analysis, or similar technologies.
  • Preference for candidates with AWS ML Certification or AWS Data Engineer Certification.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
