Job Description: Job Title - Reference Data Analyst Location - Bangalore Role Description The Instrument Data performs the static maintenance in Front Office and Back Office applications for various business lines in London, Sydney, Hong Kong, Tokyo, New York, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, and Frankfurt markets. The candidate should be able to work as part of a team, but also independently. They must be a self-starter capable of managing their own time to meet deadlines. The role involves providing day-to-day coordination for the department and its employees, as well as acting as a senior team member in order to establish optimal delivery of departmental services within determined action plans and budget. The role requires coordinating the activities of team members, monitoring daily work processes, and aligning departmental activities with those of other departments to ensure efficiency, speed, and quality. People Management: The person is expected to supervise and manage team members to optimize their performance in relation to the departmental strategy and action plans. They will also be responsible for nurturing talents within the team. Your skills and experience - Overall 6+ years of banking operations experience (preferably 4 years in Investment Banking Operations). Experience in static data is desirable. - Good product knowledge of capital market. - Needs to be a self-starter with significant ability to undertake initiatives. - Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills are required, leadership skills will be essential for this role. - Follow through skills, Effective communication skills, ability to confidently handle internal clients, futuristic and innovative approach will be expected. - Good analytical skills. Adequate knowledge in handling office applications is needed. Education/Certification - B.Com/M.Com/MBA. - Product Knowledge of Capital Market is preferred. - Prior static data work experience will be desirable.
