The GAIIC environment is fast-paced and focused on creating crucial technologies and projects that can be implemented effectively across various platforms, including mobile devices and cloud services. As a pivotal leader in this initiative, we are seeking a Data Science Manager to spearhead efforts in leveraging GenAI capabilities to enhance our customer experiences.

Role Overview:

As the Data Science Manager, you will guide a skilled team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and deep learning architects. Your leadership will drive the development of sophisticated AI models and pipelines, aiming to provide top-notch solutions to diverse customer challenges. You'll be handling vast amounts of data including text and images, to solve real-world issues comprehensively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team to develop innovative Generative AI applications
• Act as the key AWS technical liaison for our partners and direct customers
• Drive high-level discussions with senior stakeholders to strategize business and technical solutions
• Foster a culture of growth, mentorship, and technical excellence within the team

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have a robust analytical and technical background, excellent managerial skills, and the ability to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders effectively. Strategic thinking about business, product, and technical challenges should be second nature to you.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years in data science or data science management
• At least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing data scientists or ML engineers
• Proficiency in Machine Learning, NLP, Information Retrieval, and Analytics
• Advanced degree in Machine Learning or a related field is desirable
• Strong grasp of cloud computing concepts
• Excellent communication skills in English
