Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management: Collaborate with engineers to ensure availability, integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data and pipelines.
  • Data Processing & Automation: Utilize Python, PySpark, BigQuery, XGBoost, and TensorFlow to process and automate large datasets.
  • Research Participation: Engage in research activities that directly influence the development of search products.
  • Data Modeling/Analysis: Create complex data models using machine learning and statistics to understand and predict patterns.
  • Geospatial Analytics: Employ GIS tools and location-based data for insights and improved decision-making.
  • Delivery Time Predictions: Use advanced data analysis and machine learning to predict delivery times, including crafting algorithms and performing simulations.
  • Collaboration: Work with the team to solve complex issues, mentor junior members, and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Communication/Data Visualization: Clearly communicate advanced data insights to non-technical stakeholders through reports and presentations.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience in managing a technical team with the ability to set and deliver ambitious goals.
  • Proficiency in Python, Data Science, Big Data, and cloud solutions (preferably GCP).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to align technical and business issues.
  • Capability to make difficult decisions when necessary.
  • Keen to continuously develop and expand knowledge.
  • Fluent in English at a B2 level or higher.
