Key Responsibilities:

Advanced Statistical Techniques: Apply predictive modeling, time series analysis, and optimization algorithms to extract insights from complex datasets.

Machine Learning Model Development: Create and implement models for customer segmentation, churn prediction, recommendation systems, and anomaly detection across various business units.

Data Preprocessing and Visualization: Handle large, unstructured datasets with tools like Spark and Hadoop, and craft compelling visualizations to communicate insights to diverse stakeholders.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across product management, engineering, and business to design solutions and lead projects that address key business challenges.

Model Deployment and Monitoring: Deploy machine learning models in real-time environments and monitor their performance to ensure reliability and effectiveness over time.

Mentorship and Leadership: Offer guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists, advocating for best practices and contributing to the team’s professional growth.

Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest trends in data science and machine learning, continually seeking opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Background: Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

Experience: Minimum of 8 years in data science and engineering, with a proven track record of leading data-driven projects.

Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in programming languages like Python or R and familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.

Data Manipulation: Extensive experience with big data technologies like Apache Spark and Hadoop, and expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases.

Data Visualization and Communication: Excellent ability to convey complex data insights using tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Tableau.

Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to understand business challenges, devise analytical solutions, and provide actionable recommendations to foster business growth.

Preferred Expertise:

  • Advanced knowledge in Python and Machine Learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch
  • Proficiency in Big Data Technologies, including Apache Spark and Hadoop
  • Expertise in Data Visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Tableau
  • Experience with databases and querying languages including SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
  • Familiarity with Version Control and Collaboration tools like Git and GitHub
  • Knowledge of CI/CD & MLOps practices
