Ardent is currently seeking to hire a Data Scientist within our team.

This is a remote position.

Job Description:

Ardent is looking for a highly capable and motivated Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will have a vital role in examining complicated data sets, extracting valuable insights, and promoting data-driven decision-making across the company. You'll be working closely with multidisciplinary teams to address pressing business issues, develop predictive models, and contribute to the company’s growth and success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Exploration:

  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Cleanse, preprocess, and convert raw data into formats suitable for analysis.
  • Use statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to extract insights from data.

Model Development:

  • Create predictive models, algorithms, and machine learning solutions to address business issues.
  • Refine and optimize models for improved precision and performance.
  • Implement and launch models into production systems when needed.

Data Visualization:

  • Design informative and aesthetically pleasing data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings.
  • Employ tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar to present data-driven insights to stakeholders.

Collaboration:

  • Cooperate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, product managers, and business analysts.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making processes.

Continuous Learning:

  • Remain current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and data analytics.
  • Adopt new techniques and technologies to enhance existing models and processes.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred).
  • Demonstrable experience as a Data Scientist, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Competency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Thorough knowledge of data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing.
  • Experience using data visualization tools and libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
  • Familiarity with SQL and database management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
