About the Role

As a Deep Learning Researcher at Topaz Labs, you'll be spearheading efforts to advance the state-of-the-art in image and video enhancement technologies. Your key responsibilities include researching and developing innovative deep learning models to tackle inverse problems in imaging, evaluating customer feedback and image data, and refining models to enhance their efficacy in real-world applications.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in a related field (or possess equivalent industry experience) and will have been a significant contributor on major deep learning projects focused on image enhancement or image processing. Requirements include:

• Deep familiarity with CNNs and other prevalent computer vision network architectures.
• Practical experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch (minimum 2 years).
• Strong understanding of image processing algorithms.
• Working knowledge of C/C++.
• Well-versed in recent major research on deep learning for image or video enhancement.
• A demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to delivering results.
