Job Description

The Credit Settlement Risk (CSR) team at Visa plays a pivotal role in protecting the company from financial losses associated with the Visa Indemnity resulting from the failure of Visa clients. The CSR team also supports innovation and responsible business growth while managing and reviewing settlement exposure. This role is crucial for executing the long-term strategy for the Global CSR Operations group, focusing on organizational strategy, process optimization, communications, change management, training and development, and information integrity. Key Responsibilities

As a Director in CSR - Strategy, Operations, and Business Intelligence, you will:

  • Take full ownership and manage the end-to-end CSR Global reporting process, including periodic reporting and creating automated dashboards using SQL-based tools, Tableau, and PowerBI. Training team members on these tools is essential.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of CSR reporting for accuracy and completeness, involving planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Support the CSR Operations team with training on data analysis techniques and tools.
  • Lead and manage process improvement and automation initiatives using SharePoint, PowerApps, and AI resources, and train team members on these tools.
  • Oversee CSR control monitoring activities, including planning, execution, and continuous improvement of compliance validations.
  • Spearhead change management activities for CSR systems in collaboration with the Technology group and CSR teams, including prioritizing system changes and conducting user acceptance testing.
  • Drive the CSR strategy, goals, and budget, ensuring internal compliance and audit activities are met.

This hybrid role requires a blend of technical, business, and communication skills, with employees expected to work in the office 50% or more of the time, depending on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or at least 3 years with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 8-10 years with an Advanced Degree, or 6+ years with a PhD.
  • Expertise in SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel.
  • Experience in data analysis and visualization with relevant insights.
  • Strong process and risk management skills.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, PowerApps, and PowerAutomate.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, attention to detail, and strong business analysis and communication skills.
  • Experience in the payments industry, credit risks, and risk management is a plus.

Work Hours: Varies based on department needs.

Travel Requirements: Up to 5-10% travel is required.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This office-based position requires the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and via telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment like telephones and computers.
