The Director of Enterprise Data Architecture will establish the company's data vision, strategy, and roadmap to transform us into an organization that leverages data as a strategic asset, enabling everyone to glean insights specific to their contexts. You will develop complex data definitions and specifications and ensure the data architecture meets the business's requirements. You will work close partnership with leaders across Digital/Data Technology, Innovation, and Business to provide data solutions to business problems and opportunities, using modern architecture practices. Your role will ensure alignment of the data strategy with the broader organization's mission, strategy, capabilities, and processes. You will help expand the company's use of data, facilitating the achievement of goals and objectives, and empowering local service innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborating with technology groups to define data strategy and roadmap, including data migration strategy, master data management strategy and overall data architecture strategy. - Working with Business and Data leaders to review strategies, requirements, and solutions to assess impact on data and information architecture and ensure consistency throughout enterprise architecture. - Owning and governing data and information architecture principles and policies, influencing delivery teams to ensure standard methodology compliance. - Collaborating with Global Tech's architecture teams on standards, tooling, and production of enterprise assets like Data Lineage, Lifecycle Management, etc. - Building and guiding an enterprise architecture framework in close alliance with the Head of Enterprise Architecture. - Steering and contributing to critical future planning activities and projects, associated with data & analytics domain. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent, and 16+ years of professional experience. - Expertise in Data Architecture and emerging technologies, with experience in Azure data components and Machine Learning. - Experience of leading multifunctional teams to solve business problems. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with ETL, data pipeline development and robotic processing automation. - Advanced understanding of Pharma regulations and Data Privacy. - Certifications in TOGAF, Azure, or GCP. - Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to all levels of the organization.
