Our client in the e-commerce industry is seeking a new Data Analyst to assist in defining, leading, and implementing their company-wide data strategy. This role entails establishing the company's data strategy from the ground up. The perfect candidate for this position would provide business insights and intelligent analysis that help shape the executive strategic and financial growth targets. The individual in this role will create and manage the outcomes with internal cross-functional business associates. They will also closely collaborate with internal partners in Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to convert market data into business insights that expand the channel (e.g., product variety, product positioning, and promotional activity) and collaborate on requirements from supply chain and operations. What You'll Do: - Compile large, complex data sets that satisfy non-functional and functional business needs. - Oversee multiple workbooks: Inventory Dashboard, Sales Velocity, Operational Demand - Design and construct data tables to store our enterprise data in a way that's intuitive for analysts and end users. - Provide comprehensive support for integration (Data Pipelines), including design, development, deployment, and support via APIs, ETL, EDI, etc. - Conduct a gap analysis on the current state and assist in determining the new data architecture. - Develop data collection and integrations (REST, SOAP, SFTP, MQ, etc.) processes. Must-haves: - First and foremost, critical thinking! - 2 years of work experience as a Data Analyst. - E-commerce consumer packaged goods background (preferably in demand planning). - Advanced Microsoft Excel skill. - Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL). - Proficiency in R or Python-Statistical Programming. - Data Visualization (using whichever tool you prefer!). - Presentation Skills.
