In this position on the Digital Product team, your contributions to the development of innovative methodologies and data optimization will have a direct impact on our company and our clients.
A Data Science Associate is responsible for promptly delivering statistical support that meets global/regional statistical and technical standards to internal colleagues.
Responsibilities
Validate updates to the data universe using independent data sources
Provide the data collection department with lists for shop/household selection and replacement
Coordinate with data collection management to ensure that the actual usable sample per period complies with NielsenIQ standards
Ensure Quality Control algorithms for identifying and correcting raw and processed data operate within NielsenIQ guidelines
Conduct regular coverage studies of client data to ensure information trends are accurate
Collaborate with supervisor on analysis and design of customized experiments for clients
Perform data validation studies upon request and provide written feedback within an agreed timeframe
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on research techniques and applications
Perform quality control checks on all reports to ensure alignment with request, accuracy, and correctness
Ensure all standard operating procedures within your area of responsibility are followed
Propose improvements in work processes within your area of responsibility
A university degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or Operations Research
Recently graduated or with 1 to 2 years experience in statistics and data analysis
Familiarity or experience with Python/R programming languages and knowledge of SQL databases & data processing engines
Beginner-level knowledge of statistical applications and systems
Excellent communication skills, strong analytical thinking, and demonstrated experience in teamwork
Ability to navigate digital/technology measurement and independently solve complex problems
This is a remote-hybrid role, and the candidate must physically reside in the Philippines and be a country/region resident.
