Aviva is on the lookout for talented GenAI Engineers to join our brand-new CIO Gen AI Platform team. You'll be at the forefront of delivering a cutting-edge Gen AI platform that architects, builds, tests, deploys, and runs high-quality Gen AI services adaptable across diverse business and technology scenarios.

A Bit About the Role

This opportunity is just one of several new GenAI roles at Aviva! Collaborate under the guidance of our Gen AI Platform Architect & Services Lead to construct reusable, scalable infrastructure and GenAI services/tools. Your role will encompass the full spectrum of a productionized platform, ensuring monitoring, observability, security standards alignment, and adherence to DevSecOps best practices. You'll also oversee continuous integration and delivery pipeline automation, creating blueprints for efficient software asset creation.

Aviva embraces a “smart working” policy, requiring a balanced mix of remote and office-based work in Bristol or London.

Skills and Experience We're Looking For

  • Software Engineering & DevSecOps: Expertise in implementing microservice architectures on large-scale distributed systems via APIs.
  • GenAI Expertise: Proficiency in systems build and delivery, including LLM and RAG integration, GenAI services/orchestration, Prompt Engineering, Security, and LLMOps.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Experienced with AWS (EKS)/Azure infrastructure (Terraform, CloudFormation), API/Integration systems delivery (Spring, OAS3.0), and proficient in Python/Java/NodeJS programming.
  • Best Practices: Solid understanding and implementation of security, monitoring, observability, and systems assurance.
  • Adaptive Working: Detail-oriented with the ability to shape technical solutions to architectural requirements. Strong communication skills.
