Job Description

  • Establish, apply, and oversee the data collection procedure and understand its repercussion on downstream data usage.
  • Formulate and sustain efficient professional relationships with present and prospective data supplier associates.
  • Spot opportunities to enhance data feed management and steps to maintain the finest quality data products.
  • Formulate and retain processes to measure the quality of data suppliers and their contributions to data products as well as privacy compliance actions.   Utilize this data to govern data supplier relationships.
  • Create and manage an annual data budget that bolsters data products with the highest data quality. Collaborate with Finance for continual data budget reporting and management.
  • Preserve an excellent understanding of data supplier contracts and their assets (source method, file layouts, quantities, delivery schedules, etc.). Actively manage contract renewals and evaluate which partnerships are best for VMS.
  • Guide internal diligence to audit and resolve repetitive data sources as determined by data quality measures.
  • Identify and assess opportunities to onboard new data sources to back strategic product and business initiatives. Utilize inventiveness and industry knowledge to create new data partnerships.
  • Retain open communication and teamwork with internal units.  Collaborate intimately with Product Managers and Data QA who are fixated on enhancing quality and value standards including reviewing processes and developing new insights and new data requirements.

Qualifications

  • A comprehension of consumer marketing data and MarTech ecosystem including competitive landscape, trends, and challenges.
  • An experienced data professional with extensive knowledge of third-party compiled data products, practices, and services
  • Demonstrated experience with end-to-end partner identification, business term negotiation, contract development, implementation, and continued management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities and experience in evaluating and presenting data.
  • Analytical approach with the capability to interpret information and trends and make data-driven decisions.
  • Practical knowledge of and QA processes and experience working with Data teams.
  • The capacity to create and conserve positive relationships with internal customers and data suppliers.
  • Experience in customer service, research, product, and sales.
  • Possess an ownership mentality, respect company resources, and team members.
