Is This Role Right for You?

In this role, you will:

  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Process position, employee, and job data changes in HR systems throughout employee lifecycle events.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity of employee records and position management changes through established internal control mechanisms.
  • Respond to inquiries about position management and employee lifecycle events, and answer escalated issues from different stakeholders.
  • Run regular daily/weekly reports to assess performance against standard procedures and SLAs.
  • Seek opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and propose recommendations to Managers, Data Management.
  • Consider the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture in daily activities and decisions.
  • Ensure effective operations in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while maintaining adequate day-to-day business controls to meet compliance and risk obligations.
  • Promote a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.

Do You Have the Skills to Succeed?

We would love to work with you if you have:

  • A Post-Secondary Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or are pursuing such education.
  • Relevant experience in resolving customer service requests.
  • Knowledge of employee data administration and end-to-end processes.
  • A deep understanding of Bank policies and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of organizational structure and complexity.
  • Proven teamwork capabilities; strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and deadlines; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with transaction processing and data management.
  • Experience in conflict/issue resolution.
