KDN Data Science Manager at KPMG India

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Data Science Manager to join our Knowledge Discovery Network (KDN) team at KPMG India. The ideal candidate will hold at least a Bachelor's Degree in a technical or quantitative field from an accredited college or university. Preference will be given to candidates with a Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Physics, Operations Research, or related fields, and should have 10+ years of relevant experience in Machine Learning and Statistics.

Job Responsibilities:

• Transform business objectives into analytic strategies and identify data sources for supporting detailed analysis.
• Analyze both structured and unstructured data using sophisticated statistical techniques, deep learning, and Generative AI technologies.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, propose hypotheses, prepare and scrutinize historical data, and uncover patterns.
• Strong programming capabilities in Python and SQL, including experience with open-source packages and commercial/enterprise applications.
• Experience in machine learning and statistical methods such as regression, classification, clustering, ensemble and tree-based models, and time-series analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in ML Ops on any cloud-based platform and proficiency in Microsoft Tech Stack ecosystem including Azure Document Intelligence and Azure Machine Learning.
• Ability to effectively communicate analytical results and insights through reports and presentations to educate others.
• Competence in DevOps, code version control, and adherence to software development best practices.

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Expertise in Generative AI using platforms like ChatGPT and CoPilot, including hands-on experience with API integrations.
• Familiarity with Azure AI services such as Azure AI Language and Azure AI Vision is highly desirable.

Required Certifications:

Candidates should hold at least two of the following Azure certifications:

• DP-203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure
• MB260: Customer Data Platform Specialty
• DP-900: Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals
• AI-102: Designing and Implementing an Azure AI Solution
• AI-900: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals
