As a member of the Data Operations team, you will be responsible for a diverse assortment of customer-related data work, including managing client queries from start to finish, scripting ad-hoc workflows and automating processes wherever feasible. You'll work closely with the Product Success, Engineering, Product, and Data Science teams to hone our product and develop tools that will enable each department to make data-driven decisions. Your work will be crucial to growing our business and confirming ourselves as market leaders in health data connectivity. The estimated salary range for this role is $45-$55/hr. Your duties will include: - Owning all non-productized data workflows, querying Snowflake databases to assist customer and internal requests, and supporting the design of scalable processes that automate recurrent tasks. - Working closely with the Product team to provide feedback on new and existing features, uncovering opportunities for automation of existing processes, and assist in guiding the product roadmap. - Assisting clients in preparing and onboarding their datasets to the Datavant Portal, taking responsibility for the fulfillment of client requests, data extracts, and generating aggregate statistics. - Conducting internal research to scope and develop reporting dashboards used by each department to make data-driven decisions. - Querying customer data to perform unique analytics that are published in blogs, whitepapers, and academic publications/conferences to showcase the value of our sources in analytics. - Identifying team areas for growth and taking ownership of process improvement to help shape the future of the Data Ops team. The skills you will bring include: - Exceptional SQL skills, knowledge of Python is a plus - A background in computer science and/or healthcare - Familiarity with health data or a desire to learn - Experience working with large datasets & data pipelines - Comfortability with cloud services and building dashboards - Comfortability working from the command line - High-organization and the ability to manage quick turnaround times with multiple stakeholders - A driven, entrepreneurial, ready-for-startup mindset We strive to foster a diverse team of Datavanters who steward a high-performance culture in which all Datavanters thrive.
