Job Overview

Stellent IT is seeking an experienced Machine Learning (ML) Engineer to develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models aimed at solving complex business challenges and enhancing technological solutions across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), and statistical modeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build robust cloud-based ML pipelines to train, deploy, infer, and monitor models at scale.
• Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Manage data workflows and pipelines, ensuring efficient data movement and processing.
• Implement systems to monitor model performance and ensure optimal operation.
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to support business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and deep dives to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Use visualization techniques to present data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Make informed infrastructure decisions, considering model choices, data, feature selection, and other ML modeling aspects.
• Create and maintain documentation for operational processes.
• Ensure code quality and manage risks by adhering to best practices in Responsible and Explainable AI.
• Lead code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in ML engineering and contribute innovative ideas and solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain Nevada Gaming Control Board registration.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in machine learning and data science.
• Proficient in building, evaluating, scaling, and deploying ML pipelines using Python, Google Cloud Platform, and Databricks.
• Strong programming skills in Python and expertise in data manipulation tools such as SQL, Spark, and Pandas.
• Experience with ML tools and frameworks like scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, etc.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.
• Proficiency in data visualization techniques for conveying ML model performance and business insights.
• Experience in statistical and quantitative analysis, predictive analytics, outlier analysis, and optimization algorithms.
• In-depth understanding of AI/ML model design, development, and relevant libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy, among others.
• Experience handling large, complex datasets and developing processes for data ingestion, cleansing, and evaluation.
• Strong foundation in Machine Learning principles and the ability to translate business needs into ML solutions.
