About the Role

We are expanding our Systems Engineering team within RL Silicon AI, and we are searching for skilled Machine Learning Systems Engineers. This role involves crucial collaboration across various teams to enhance machine learning acceleration capabilities and implement cutting-edge software and hardware solutions in state-of-the-art Systems on Chips (SoCs).

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate extensively with firmware, system architects, and ML researchers to pioneer new ML use cases.
• Enhance machine learning acceleration capabilities in collaboration with compiler and ML researchers.
• Contribute to performance and power analysis of machine learning models.
• Develop software methodologies for optimization on ML accelerators.
• Engage in early prototyping with FPGA engineers and firmware teams.
• Support Post-Silicon Validation engineers in demonstrating Silicon/form factor workloads.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Machine Learning Systems Engineering or similar roles.
• Proficient in hardware-software co-design and performance modeling.
• Knowledge of machine learning models, algorithms, and accelerator architecture.
• Experience with procedural programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
• Familiarity with mobile SoC hardware architecture and system-level performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in the development, bring-up, and shipping of software across full-stack domains.
• Hands-on experience with SoC bring-up and prototyping.
• Expertise in machine learning, graphics, or computer vision accelerators.
• Experience with mobile or wearable form factor devices, especially in Android environments.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
