THE OPPORTUNITY
We are recruiting for a Mid-level Data Analyst for our Global Analytics team in Brazil!
As part of our ever-expanding Global Analytics team at Gympass, you'll play a crucial role in fostering a culture centered on data and supporting unique strategic initiatives. The wide-ranging nature of this role will see you responsible for developing and overseeing Gympass’ growth strategy, products, technologies, tools, and technical solutions. This encompasses generating and reviewing reports, building data dashboards, communicating directly with product partners, identifying patterns and trends in data sets from a variety of product areas, and identifying opportunities to direct and enhance our product in collaboration with our Product team.
YOUR IMPACT
- Develop recommendations and drive improvements to data standards, processes, definitions, or tools.
- Partner with Product team leaders globally, providing analytical insights through accessible and visual data dashboards.
- Actively participate in discussions with various global teams and influence the direction of the product.
- Utilize relationships with internal stakeholders across numerous functional areas to help identify insights that will affect the broader business.
- Consult with managers and team leaders to transform vague or poorly defined issues into clearly addressable problems/questions.
WHO YOU ARE
- Have relevant work experience, analyzing large data sets and synthesizing insights into actionable product recommendations.
- Excellent SQL skills are required.
- Experience using data visualization tools (Tableau, Metabase, etc).
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex issues to stakeholders in an engaging way that encourages discussion and action.
- Must be comfortable in unstructured, fast-moving, and constantly evolving high-growth environments.
- Entrepreneurial and digitally savvy, creative and experimental approach to problem-solving, with exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
- A curious mind wanting to make an impact on protecting the bottom line and optimizing overall revenue.
- A driven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can maintain confidentiality and handle complex issues.
- Strong execution skills and the ability to drive work to completion.
- Excellent English communication skills.
