Join Our Innovative Team as a Machine Learning Operations Engineer at Spotter

Spotter, a recognized leader featured in TIME100's Most Influential Companies, is looking for a talented ML Ops Engineer to become the pioneering member of our Product team. This role is crucial as we expand our advanced ML models to cater to our increasing user base.

What You'll Do

As our first Machine Learning Operations Engineer, you will:

• Design, construct, and manage scalable solutions to integrate our in-house models across our products.
• Improve platform efficiency and scalability with a focus on GPU resource allocation, data processing, model training, and deployment.
• Work collaboratively with data scientists, AI engineers, and backend engineers to streamline model deployment pipelines.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD and Argo Workflow.
• Implement and manage monitoring frameworks with tools like Prometheus and Grafana to ensure optimal performance of our machine learning platform.
• Stay current with the latest in MLOps, distributed computing, and GPU technology.

Who You Are

You ideally have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in deploying and scaling machine learning models in a production setting.
• Deep expertise in CI/CD tools, orchestration platforms like Airflow or Kubeflow, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with LLMs and diffusion models, particularly open-source ones, and excellent communicative abilities for effective cross-team collaboration.

Additional Valued Skills

It would be advantageous to have:

• Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Comprehensive understanding of data governance and security best practices.
• Active involvement in the machine learning and tech community with up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
