About the Role

As an On-device ML Engineer, your role revolves around enhancing the performance and efficiency of ML models on devices like iPhones and Macs. You'll tackle the challenges of quantizing and converting models for optimized execution. You will also create and enhance open-source software and libraries that bridge the gap for developers unfamiliar with ML. Your contributions will not only support internal projects but also bolster a wide community of ML practitioners and developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluation and optimization of ML models based on performance metrics such as latency and memory usage.
• Adapting state-of-the-art (SOTA) models to run efficiently on Apple platforms via Core ML or MLX formats.
• Optimizing model architectures for Apple Silicon, troubleshooting, and custom coding in Swift.
• Producing high-quality technical documentation and contributing to the community through blogs, guides, and tutorials.

About You

If you possess a robust background in Swift development, a passion for ML, and experience with Core ML, you could be perfect for this role.
