We are currently searching for a Data Analytics and AI Principal to join our team at our Nissan Americas HQ in Franklin, TN.
Job Description
The Data Office is accountable for leading data endeavors that span across master data, transactional data, and third-party data sets. The scope encompasses all areas in the Americas - North and South America.
As the leader within this team, you'll comprehend the business, connect with business leads, identify opportunities and needs/requirements, drive the execution and management of data assets, build business relationships, support and collaborate on the data governance program. This role works with internal business executives and IT personnel to deliver analytics products, drive product utilization, educate the business on data-driven decision-making, and serve as a data specialist on critical business initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
Your role will involve participating in business requirements collection and aid in translating business requirements into technical requirements. You'll manage technical execution of development tasks to ensure solutions align with business value and data architecture, and that the design aligns with enterprise architecture strategy. You'll also manage support tasks to ensure root causes are understood and resolved.
Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience in analytics and enterprise data management strategies, strong knowledge of modern technologies in the analytics & data science space, and excellent communication skills. They should also have the ability to multi-task and provide high-quality solutions under pressure, operating with minimal information and lack of clarity.
Must-Have Requirements
The successful candidate must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and project management skills, and technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques. They must have the ability to work effectively under pressure in a demanding, fast-paced environment, and to tight deadlines. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or Data Science is a must.
Preferred Requirements
A Master’s degree and project management skills are preferred.
