Job Description

We are seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to join our Data Strategy and Business Intelligence team within Sales Ops at Dynatrace. This role is part of a dynamic, fast-paced organization experiencing rapid growth and success. The ideal candidate will swiftly grasp the global needs of our sales organization and collaborate with technical teams to design and implement datasets/dashboards that elucidate business trends for non-technical users.

The Sales Operations Analyst will frequently work with Sales and operations leadership and Business Systems teams to leverage analytics and provide business insights to Executive leadership, Sales management, and internal operations. This role will serve as a key business partner with Sales, Sales Operations, CRM, Business Systems, Finance, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Build dashboards and support special data projects to uncover business performance insights.
  • Develop and publish reports using Power BI, Salesforce, and Excel to monitor and analyze business performance.
  • Create actionable datasets for stakeholders by developing SQL queries in PostreSQL and Snowflake.
  • Translate end-user requirements into technical specifications for development and BI teams.
  • Validate and implement enhancements with technical teams to improve processes.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of data for stakeholders.
  • Provide training to stakeholders on accessing and utilizing reports.
  • Respond to feedback and adjust reporting to better suit business needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance current operations reporting, boost efficiency, and offer recommendations on new data for future analysis.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of relevant Sales Operations or Finance Operations experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in analytics within Software or High Tech companies.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Information Systems, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a similar field.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, graphing, complex formulas, and Visual Basic macros.
  • Experience with SQL (Postgres, Snowflake, or similar DBMS).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R for data manipulation.
  • High level of comfort using Salesforce.com (or related CRM).
  • Strong grasp of data modeling and data visualization methods.
  • Expertise in data gathering, cleaning, and transformation techniques.
  • Ability to narrate business stories through data visualization tools.
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills to convey insights and recommendations to diverse and senior audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in results.
  • Proven track record of delivering timely and accurate results in a fast-paced environment.
