About the Role:
Contribute to the Executive Administration and Project Support team within HR Services Operations in Canada. Your efforts will directly support the team’s business strategies and objectives, ensuring compliance with governing regulations and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Experience and Advisory: Provide expert guidance to managers and employees on organizational structure and employee lifecycle management, fostering a positive employee experience.
- Talent Management Collaboration: Design and implement training and career development initiatives for HR Data Management advisors and consultants in alignment with Global HR Services Operations.
- Effective HR Information Oversight: Maintain the accuracy and integrity of HR information systems, supporting informed decision-making across HR functions.
- Insightful Performance Evaluation: Assess employee performance through the Internal HR Data Management Service Quality process to drive growth and team effectiveness.
- Tailored HR Support: Implement customized HR support strategies for organizational structure changes, ensuring alignment with HR goals and practices.
- Process Enhancement for Project Success: Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, enhancing efficiency and contributing to departmental success.
- Resolution of Complex Inquiries: Provide expert assistance in resolving intricate employee inquiries and offer overflow support for smooth HR operations.
- Adherence Monitoring and Oversight: Monitor change processes to ensure compliance with established standards and SLAs.
- Operational Improvement Leadership: Identify and implement operational enhancements within HR, optimizing team performance.
- Code of Conduct: Uphold Scotiabank’s Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles while ensuring compliance with operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk obligations.
Job Requirements:
- A post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience in resolving customer service requests.
- Knowledge of employee data administration and end-to-end processes.
- Understanding of Bank policies and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of organizational structure.
- Proven teamwork capabilities and strong interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with transaction processing and data management.
- Conflict/issue resolution experience.
