Introduction to the Role

Join our Oncology R&D department as a Senior Clinical Data Manager II. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with coordinating the Clinical Data Management (CDM) deliverables for assigned clinical studies. As a core member of the Global Study Team, you'll lead studies with varying complexities. This opportunity allows you to collaborate with DM vendors and liaise with various departments on both local and global scales.

Key Accountabilities

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate Clinical Data Management deliverables for assigned studies, showcasing both leadership and operational knowledge in planning and delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for DM vendors, providing guidance and supervision to the Lead Data Manager/DM Team Lead on the study.
• Ensure compliance with Trial Master File requirements related to DM Vendor.
• Support Senior Leaders in overseeing CDM Vendor performance.

Essential Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A university or college degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or a related field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Clinical Data Management and relevant experience in the Biotech/Pharma/CRO industry.
• An up-to-date understanding of Good Clinical Data Management Practices (GCDMP) and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience with clinical databases, various clinical data management systems, and electronic data capture (EDC).
• Proficiency in query management processes and reconciliation activities.
• The ability to manage multiple projects flexibly and meet deadlines proactively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively within a global team environment.
• Outstanding organizational and analytical skills with a high attention to detail.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Additional qualifications include:

• Knowledge of the clinical and pharmaceutical drug development process.
• Understanding clinical data system design, development, validation, and system interoperability.
• Proficiency in working with external partners.
• An understanding of database structures, programming languages, and data standards (CDISC).
• Knowledge of SQL or SAS software.
• Experience leading clinical studies as a Data Management Lead.
