As a member of our Digital Center of Excellence, the Senior Data Analyst, Enrollment, will team up with senior marketing and enrollment leaders to evaluate performance of enrollment personnel, process, and technology. This involves identification, confirmation, and tracking of enrollment KPI's, manifested through the creation of self-service reporting tools, reliable data, visualization, and presentation of insights.

Responsibilities

  • Hybrid Opportunity - If located within 50 miles of an Adtalem office, our new Senior Data Analyst, Marketing & Enrollment will be on-site 3 days a week.
  • Develops dashboards, visualizations, and insights that inform stakeholders across the business.
  • Collaborates with marketing and enrollment leadership to develop success criteria aligned with organizational goals.
  • Evaluates KPI's to ensure they align with high-level goals. Recommends new and improved measures that evolve with the business and confirms their impact on business success.
  • Works with the business intelligence team to ensure data governance. Develops stakeholder trust in data accuracy and cleanliness.
  • Presents insights to senior leaders. Organizes objective data stories that can be understood by various audiences; from senior executives to frontline managers.
  • Harmonizes insight methodologies across business units. Strives for consistency while meeting the unique needs of business partners.
  • Develops automated solutions to decrease ad-hoc data needs. Supports ad-hoc requests when data is not available.
  • Develops queries in Big Query to create reports and provide ad-hoc analysis/data pulls as needed.
  • Verifies data and troubleshoots reporting problems.
  • Brings an unbiased, data-driven opinion to strategic discussions. Acts as a stakeholder committed to achieving targets.
  • Measures business objectives in consumable dynamic formats.
  • Maintains a strong understanding of business challenges and opportunities to ensure work meets the context of what is requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Computer Sciences, Math, or related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in working with databases, reporting on data, and performing an analytical role is required. Marketing and sales analytics experience preferred.
  • Hands-on data visualization experience required; preferably in Power BI and/or Tableau.
  • SQL and/or Big Query coding experience and experience accessing data from complex data lakes required.
  • Experience with Python preferred.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet, and web applications.
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication skills and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills. Ability to negotiate priorities in a matrix organization.

Additional Information

In support of pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected range for this position is between $51,962 and $93,918. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors allowed by law, such as experience and training, geographic location, licensure and certifications, market factors, departmental budgets, and responsibilities.
