What Your Day-To-Day Will Look Like:

As a Senior Data Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, implementing, and optimizing data systems to enhance statistical efficiency and data quality.
• Performing rigorous analysis and assessment of data attributes using various statistical software packages.
• Developing processes and recommendations to elevate operational performance in line with Bureau policies and procedures.
• Offering statistical analysis and research in support of investigative projects and presenting the interpreted results.
• Creating customized data visualizations aimed at simplifying complex results for easier understanding.
• Employing advanced mathematical methodologies and algorithms to innovate and refine data analysis techniques.
• Identifying trends or patterns in complex data sets to provide actionable insights.

What You Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements for the role:

• Active Top Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in AI, statistical analysis, data modeling, and visualization.
• Ability to organize and query large data sets effectively.
• Strong knowledge in data manipulation, data cleansing, and segmentation techniques.
• Professional competence in applying scientific methods and statistical analyses to complex or unprecedented problems.
• Comprehensive mathematical knowledge to develop research models and execute statistical analyses.
• Skilled in using data analysis software, databases, and programming for scientific research.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings and guide training sessions effectively.

Ideally, You Also Have:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Elasticsearch and other Relational Databases such as MySQL, SQLite, PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and stored procedures.
• Experience with ETL processes and Graph databases like Neo4j is preferred.
